Taylor Swift has always been an open book with fans.

The singer, 29, shared new music and a glimpse at her old diaries during an Instagram Live Stream on Tuesday.

Swift treated fans to a new song, titled "The Archer," which will be the fifth track on her upcoming album "Lover," scheduled to drop Aug. 23.

"Instinctively I was putting a very vulnerable, personal, honest, emotional song as track five" on her previous albums, Swift said, and her new ballad is no different.

"This is a glimpse into another side of the album I wanted to show you," she said, revealing that she collaborated with Jack Antonoff (Bleachers, Fun.) on the track, which she clarified is not a new single.

"I really hope you like it," Swift added.

Swift's announcement comes on the heels of earning 10 MTV Video Music Award nominations earlier Tuesday, including the coveted category of Video of the Year for "You Need to Calm Down." She's tied with Ariana Grande for the most nominations.

"I woke up to the most amazing news today," she said in reaction to the nominations on her live stream, adding that she didn't think it was real at first. "Thank you to anyone who watched those videos. So excited."

Her announcement came with another surprise for Swifties: She will release 120 pages from her personal diaries in four deluxe editions of "Lover."

"This is the 13th year of me of putting out albums, which is my lucky number. So I figured we have to do something," Swift said. "I've been writing in diaries since I was 13 years old… When I went through them I marked pages what I thought you would be interested in seeing."

She continued, "It's everything from being 13 and coming home from a bad day at school to Grammy night to processing my life changing as a teenager."

Not only with the special edition albums include Swift's deepest and darkest thoughts, it will also have empty journal pages for fans to "process things in your life by writing about them."
